A week in late summer outfits

Hello! Hello!

Mel here with another lookbook, this time it was what I wore for a week Monday through Friday. So let’s get started, shall we?

For many, Monday’s are a total drag. It’s the beginning of the beginning of forever, the work week. But for me, Monday is just an extra day off….yes I’m bragging. It’s also my day to run errands, catch up with friends, or do absolutely nada. This Monday I was feeling a little sporty and baby spice mixed into one. I decided to go with a high waisted loose fitting pants. One of my favorite pair of camo pants to wear for sure. You can wear them as is circa early 2000s Spice girls style or there is the option to sinch the crap out of your ankles, excuse me kankles in my case.

I wanted to keep it a little girly by adding this fluffy tank top, a Fashion Nova buy. For shoes I went with my Adidas kicks and matching Adidas cross body bag from Urban Outfitters. It was super hot and sunny this day.

Tuesday was another low key day. Back to work, but another warm sun shining day. I wish I got into skirts more this summer. Sady this is the only one I currently own. I love pairing T-shirts with anything so I figured why not with a jean skirt. Again I decided to wear the same bag from Monday continuing the casual vibes with the same sneakers as well.  I wore a brown belt to snatch my waist and I was good to go.

Hump day was a wee bit chilly so I opted to wear my son’s track sweater from H&M. I wanted to wear something yellow and cheery. I decided to change it up a bit and try something new, dress down my dress pants with my comfy Fila Disruptors II. This is probably one of my favorite outfits from the week. I was feeling the college girl vibes keeping the look simple with large bamboo earrings and a brown lippie. I finally changed my bag this day to a fanny pack and wore a pair of sunnies on a gray and rainy day. It was a vibe LOL.

Thursday was another chill and comfy day. Without realizing I felt like I channeled a hippie street style look with these vintage floral pants from Good Weezie LOL. My crop top is an oldie from Fashion Nova, paired my jean jacket from H&M, and beige colored converses to tie in the warm tones together. The accessories were oversized hooped earrings and again with my Adidas bag from UO.

Last but not least Friday was the most chill out of all my days. I literally wore bike shorts and a thin sweatshirt from Wal-mart.  This outfit was the comfiest of all. I can live in this for the rest of my days.  To dress it up I guess you can say I wore a red lippie, my round red sunnies, and my trusty bag from UO. You can never go wrong with the Filas *cough *cough I wore my son’s space jam tweety socks. Don’t judge me.

xoxo Mel
